POTW: Backcountry in GTNP

Stella and I spent the day backcountry skiing in GTNP. Our adventure started at the winter gate closure on the Moose entrance side of the Moose ~ Wilson Road. We skied along the road before entering the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve and skied toward the Snake River to the east. We continued along the river before ducking back into the forest and meandering our way back to Moose ~ Wilson Road. We traversed the road before reentering the preserve for a late afternoon snack. We were out testing our new binding and boots on our Madshus Panorama M78 backcountry skis.
