A week ago we ran into Rocky Mountain National Park to view the wildlife. We initially had passed a group of meandering moose that had captured the attention of many but they were in the tree line across the meadow. We continued our journey deeper into the park before we turned back at the Timber Lake Trailhead. On our way out this large bull moose moved into a better viewing position. We pulled over to take a closer look and this has to be one of the larger moose I have seen over the past 5 years. The rack is massive and the picture does not do it justice.
