After several years of “testing,” I am sharing my thoughts on the TeamObsidian Bike Cover (formerly DAVANDI). We purchased the bike cover to protect our bikes from the elements and prying eyes. We originally bought the bike cover in June 2019 and have since upgraded our bikes as well, Stella now rides on a Trek DualSport 3 and I am riding a Scott Scale 940.

MATERIAL: The TeamObsidian Bike Cover is made of 210D Rip-Stop nylon with weatherproofing in mind, protecting your investment from the elements. The seams are double-stitched and sealed with heat tape. Additionally, an anti-UV layer with PU coating extends the lifespan of the cover even under long exposure to the sun. We have used ours extensively and it is still perfectly in-tact.
FIT: Whether the bikes are opposing or front-facing, the TeamObsidian Bike Cover provides a snug fit. It has a tapered design from the top down, which is secured by drawstrings at the tires with a center buckle in the middle. With that being said, putting the cover on and off is super easy.
FINAL THOUGHTS: As previously mentioned, we purchased the TeamObsidian Bike cover four years ago, and at that time, our investment was $37.99. The cover still provides complete waterproof protection for our bikes and UV protection. There are no rips or tears on the materials as well. The cover is available in 3 sizes (1 to 3 bikes) and has the option to be purchased for stationary use or during transportation. Additionally, the bike cover comes with a carry bag to store the cover when not in use.
Overall: Excellent
Price Paid: $37.99 + tax
