It is not uncommon to see moose or elk during a winter loop around the lake… our video picks up as we cross the frozen Buchanan Creek, heading north toward the eastern edge of the lake… Monarch Lake, is one of the many jewels of the Colorado Rockies, offering solace, inspiration, and adventure to all who venture into this winter wonderland.
