A walk in the woods...

A walk in the woods… John Muir says it best, “In every walk in nature one receives far more than he seeks.” Stella and I seek new adventures as often as we can, we spent Christmas 2021 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and ventured into the woods up on Rabbit Ears Pass. The pass is named after Rabbit Ears Peak, a distinctive double-humped mountain that resembles rabbit ears. Rabbit Ears Pass is located in the Rocky Mountains of northern Colorado and connects the towns of Steamboat Springs and Kremmling. It is part of the Park Range in the Routt National Forest. Known for its scenic beauty, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forests. If you a seeking a walk in the woods, do not pass on the opportunity to traipse about Rabbit Ears Pass, with abundant outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing along with snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, and snowmobiling in the winter.
