POTW: Sacred Dancing Cascade

Sacred Dancing Cascade, tucked away along the Going-to-the-Sun Road on the west side of Glacier National Park. After spending the day on Lake McDonald, a quick jaunt to Avalanche Falls accompanied by a stroll through the Trail of the Cedars, we stopped at the Sacred Dancing Cascade.

POTW: Pelecanus Erythrorhynchos

Pelecanus Erythrorhynchos, or more commonly known as the American White Pelican, one of the largest birds of North America, takes flight over Shadow Mountain Lake. They frequently congregate, in mass, near the inflow from the Colorado River on Shadow Mountain Lake, returning each spring to the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park.

POTW: Double Arch

Double Arch inside Arches National Park is a unique arch structure, it is referred to as a pothole arch. The double arch was created when water eroded the the arches from above versus from the side. Arches National Park is located just north of Moab, Utah, the park is encompassed by the Colorado Plateau.
