2024 FLX quick fixes: The start of the travel season presented itself with a few challenges before our first trip over the Memorial Day holiday weekend to New Mexico. As we prepped our 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX 2108DS I noticed a few items needing attention. Below, I have described each problem and the coinciding resolution.
Tire Linc: We installed the Lippert Tire Linc monitoring system because it provides peace of mind if something were to happen while towing the FLX; we would be alerted. However, sometime between the end of the 2023 season and the start of 2024, the tire information would not populate on the information section of the phone app even though it appeared on the settings screen. After attempting to fix it on my own, I contacted Lippert via chat to explain my dilemma. The FLX quick fix, remove the app from the phone and re-install it.
Truma Aventa Eco Air Conditioning: With the Truma system, there are often challenges, particularly with the CP+ Panel. In this instance, the Aventa Eco was not connecting with the CP+ Panel nor was I able to operate the Aventa Eco with the remote control. For many of us initial FLX owners, we often have to act as our own tech support because the dealerships knew very little since it was a new system in 2022. If you find your Aventa Eco not connecting to the CP+ Panel, it may take a bit of brainstorming to figure it out. In this case, the FLX quick fix was simple. I completed a hard reset using the remote control. This is the same process as when you initially pick up your FLX if the dealer fails to pair them for you, which was the case when we got ours.
