The North Inlet Moose

We happened upon the North Inlet Moose as we were driving through Grand Lake heading to the east end of the lake on a Sunday evening not long ago. The North Inlet source, Lake Powell, is located deep in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park. These waters provide the necessary source of moisture that allow the willows to propagate along its banks, thus producing a healthy food source for our abundant population of moose on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park.
