There is something special about kayaking in the fall, particularly on the Willow Creek Reservoir, flanked with Aspens strewn about its southern shores with their vibrant fall colors on display. This past Saturday we able to get the “Big Mango” out on the water for possibly one of the last high mountain paddles of the year. We covered nearly 6 miles as the water levels allowed for us to explore a few areas that typically we would be unable to paddle into. Located to the west of Lake Granby it is a hidden gem to paddle about whether in your kayak or on a paddle board.
