The Black Hills is a sacred place rising from the great plains. We were fortunate to spend the Memorial Day holiday weekend in Custer, South Dakota. We traveled through Custer State Park in search of Bison and Burros. We headed north to Deadwood to ride our bikes along the George S. Mickelson Trial. In the end, we were mesmerized by the beauty, and in time we will return to explore more of the Black Hills.
