When we purchased our 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie FLX 2108DS travel trailer last year, we immediately recognized a design flaw with the bathroom faucet and sink. The spout of the faucet does not extend far enough into the sink bowl, resulting in water leakage in the space that separates the faucet from the sink bowl. This is an issue that many FLX owners have also mentioned. Winnebago should have either placed the sink bowl closer to the faucet or used a faucet with a longer spout so that the water pours further into the sink bowl.
Like others, we thought about replacing the faucet, but as we continued contemplating this, we decided that we wanted a simpler solution. That is when we came across the Waternymph Kitchen Sink Faucet Aerator. Looking back, we wish that we had purchased this last year when we first spotted it on Amazon instead of waiting until this year because it is the perfect solution!
It arrived from Amazon in a tin container with a few parts and pieces so that it would fit different types of faucet spouts. For ours, we only need the main piece that screws right onto the spout. The body of the Waternymph swivels 360 degrees, and the swivel mechanism is loose enough so that it moves around easily, yet isn’t too loose to the point where it doesn’t stay in place. When we are finished brushing our teeth, we swivel it around to completely clean the entire sink bowl. Additionally, the pressure can be adjusted based on how far you turn the water handle. It can spray out pretty hard if you turn the handle all the way, which we do not find to be necessary in all instances.
BOTTOM LINE: If you do not want to go through the unnecessary hassle of replacing the bathroom faucet, try out the Waternymph! And once you do, send us your comments/thoughts about it to let us know what you think.
