Shortly after the rain had stopped, a cow and her calf appeared at the north end of the Kawuneeche Valley near the Colorado River Trailhead inside Rocky Mountain National Park. Stella and I make it a point to drive into Rocky Mountain National Park after it rains, as the wildlife seems to appear out of nowhere. We watched the calf keep chase with its mother before they headed west into the valley and out of sight.
